Martial arts and Training

Costa Prasoulas developed a nack for Martial arts at the young age of 5 or 6. Influenced by his father to a greater degree, Costa had always been into martial arts training and some of his mastered and accredited arts include, Muay Thai, Hapkido, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Pankration, etc.

In the midst of champions.

Born in Sydney, Australia, Costa has spent several years overseas, training and perfecting his craft.

He has also trained the police and law enforcement personnel in Greece and ran seminars in women’s self-defense, awareness, and law enforcement personnel in combat and tactics. Currently, Costs is the Australian AFPA President and ambassador in the Martial Arts.

Costa runs his own academy, Zeus International Martial Arts Academy, and has around 35+ years of experience in training, competition, teaching, and motivation. Additionally, he trains security and government contractors in self-defense.

These activities help executives become more proactive and operate more effectively as team players. His techniques incorporate a unique insight into Ancient Greek Warfare and USA military combat training.

Achievements through the years: Costa Prasoulas

He won the Australian open Martial Arts champion in the year 1992 and bagged a sliver in The World Games in 2009.

Costa’s Philosophy for Zeus Academy

Many may believe Martial arts and combat is only an act of the body. However, it can’t be farther from the right. Consta in an interview with George Fourie (Martial Arts Media) revealed that the oneness and coordination of body, mind, and soul are what goes into mastering these art forms.

“I think of philosophy and its beautiful relation to martial arts is the fact not that it gives you answers, but it creates questions. It creates an open channel of thinking. In relation to martial arts, there’s not one answer. There’s many ways from a technical avenue, from a stylistic perspective and many answers, there’s not one thing, right? That’s why there’s so many variations and so many possibilities.”

The bottom line

Costa is one of a kind. Isn’t it beautiful and absolutely motivating to learn that you can do so much with something you are passionate about? His words, his career, and his approach are extremely enlightening and hopefully, you’ll find it as motivating as we did!
