Costa’s Philosophy for Zeus Academy
Many may believe Martial arts and combat is only an act of the body. However, it can’t be farther from the right. Consta in an interview with George Fourie (Martial Arts Media) revealed that the oneness and coordination of body, mind, and soul are what goes into mastering these art forms.
“I think of philosophy and its beautiful relation to martial arts is the fact not that it gives you answers, but it creates questions. It creates an open channel of thinking. In relation to martial arts, there’s not one answer. There’s many ways from a technical avenue, from a stylistic perspective and many answers, there’s not one thing, right? That’s why there’s so many variations and so many possibilities.”
The bottom line
Costa is one of a kind. Isn’t it beautiful and absolutely motivating to learn that you can do so much with something you are passionate about? His words, his career, and his approach are extremely enlightening and hopefully, you’ll find it as motivating as we did!
